OADG Introduction to Freestyle Clinic

Kiki Webster, a former OADG board member with many years of experience in designing and riding freestyle Dressage tests, will give an introductory presentation about freestyle. Topics will include tempo/timing, choreography, rules, music choice and editing. Bill Webster will provide technical advice on using free tools to create a custom music score.
This event is a great introduction to the world of freestyle in a fun learning environment. Light refreshments will be provided!

Please register in advance to attend this event. Free for OADG members, $5 for non members. All ages and skill levels welcome!

Dressage Trainer, Coach, USEF R Judge Lecture and area of focus options:
● Rider biomechanics— lecture and unmounted work: position, awareness, balance, feel, timing
● Horse biomechanics– lecture, possible demo rider or ground demo with horse: evaluating movement, posture, alignment and symmetry. How straightness and collection are developed through mental/emotional state and lateral work.
● Ground/In hand work– lecture/demo, horseless work: emotional connection and awareness, cultivating calm, connection and preparation for ridden work
